Look what I got!
Saturday was my S&B Holiday Gift Exchange. From my Secret Santa, I received this! It's Coronet from Knitty. I have worn it several times already. It's warm and wonderful. I also received from the same Santa a very cute stuffed bunny, hand-knitted of course, and a lovely sachet full of cinnamon and other winter spices. Thanks, J., for being my Secret Santa.

FO: Fairly Easy Fair Isle

Here are pics of the Fairly Easy Fair Isle
from Stitch and Bitch Nation. This sweater worked up very quickly. I made it for my daughter to wear Christmas Eve along with skirt still in progress. The yarn is from Plymouth Encore, I believe. Lost the labels ages ago. Pictured here are the upper back and a cuff.
The skirt has some block stripes and is about 3 inches done. This morning, I whipped up a little something for someone who reads this blog, so mums the word til after Christmas.
It has started snowing again. I guess I am glad I can cover up in whatever projects I have going to stay warm.

Shhhh... Don't tell the kiddo

I took a break from knitten making to whip up a pair of these slipper boots. Susie will receive them tomorrow filled with candy from St. Nicholas. Happy St. Nicholas day!
I have been knitting a lot lately, but not posting here much because the knitting has been pretty boring. Mittens, mittens and more mittens. I am making several pairs for several people. When they are all down, I'll post a pic. of the whole lot.
I cannot wait to get back to work on Susie's Fairly Easy Fair Isle which I hope to have ready for the Christmas tree.
